Our Mission
“Chesed” is a Hebrew word that is translated as God’s unfailing love and people’s loving-kindness toward each other. Following the teachings and example of Jesus Christ, the mission of Chesed House is to show loving-kindness and provide housing, food, clothing, education, employment, guidance, accountability, and direction to adult women who have just completed a six month to one year alcohol or drug recovery program. Our purpose is to help adult women make a successful transition from a recovery program to everyday living, by equipping them to function responsibly and productively in the home, workplace, church, and community.
Our Vision
Chesed House envisions its service as providing a Christian environment that enables ladies recovering from with life-controlling alcohol and drug issues to become free self-supportive, God-reliant contributors to society.
