Chesed House is a 501(c)(3) non-profit Christian organization focused on ministering to the unique needs of adult women who have completed a 6 month to one year drug and alcohol recovery program. The primary objective of Chesed House is to provide a 6 month to one year internship program with structured transitional housing, disciplined education, skills training, and emotional and spiritual support. Our goal is to foster the recovery of the student interns and equip them for independent living in a safe, structured, and Christian environment.

Our Mission
“Chesed” is a Hebrew word that is translated as God’s unfailing love and people’s loving-kindness toward each other. Following the teachings and example of Jesus Christ, the mission of Chesed House is to show loving-kindness and provide housing, food, clothing, education, employment, guidance, accountability, and direction to adult women who have just completed a six month to one year alcohol or drug recovery program. Our purpose is to help adult women make a successful transition from a recovery program to everyday living, by equipping them to function responsibly and productively in the home, workplace, church, and community.
Our Vision
Chesed House envisions its service as providing a Christian environment that enables ladies recovering from with life-controlling alcohol and drug issues to become free self-supportive, God-reliant contributors to society.
